iitian-is it matters?

finally, my 1st sem. is over and the semester breaks have started as usual. honestly speaking i'd hard time here and having lot of apprehensions about the college that i'll share with you all in the upcoming posts. but here, i would like you to tell me if the "iitian' tagname matters in the real and practical world outside. is it true that nobody gives a damn to where you've passed from? or is it like that just we've graduated from india's best college so we'll be priviledged and considered a step farther from others?
